The Smoker 2
I like the restaurant very much. It's one of my most favourite places to have breakfast. It looks like belonging to the past. Their sandwiches are great.

The Smoker
He's one of the workers working on the road near my home. I don't know what has been really done to the road. Maybe it's too old. Time to change the upper layer.
He's preparing some hot stuff. Probably for putting between the layers. While waiting for the hot stuff, he smoked a cigarette. He didn't burn enough.

Pacapio
Often walked in front of the gaming centre. I don't have a clear idea of the game. It's some kind of lottery. I'm not interested in it. Never been there. Just found the tree top shapes under the flourescent lamps quite well.

The Delivery
Inside the lift. I saw the lady carrying a lunchbox. She's in her restaurant uniform. Obviously bringing food for someone hungry in the building. Before leaving the lift, I took a picture of her. From the perspective of my thigh.

The Chimney
Today we don't find chimneys as many as in the old times. They can mostly found in industrial districts. This is the power station. The chimney is overwhelming. Although it's so dark, I can't help but take a picture of it.

The Tunnel
No one likes to walk through a tunnel alone at night. It doesn't feel safe. Always afraid of nasty or spooky things approaching us.

Japanese Restaurant
I was not inspired these days. The weather is still such a bore. I'm quite busy. Nothing special happens in Macao. Macao is not a good place for street photography. It's not as vibrant as Hong Kong. If I want to keep my street photo-taking hobby here, I need to be more sensitive. I think this is harder than photography techniques.
I took this picture at a newly opened Japanese restaurant. The food is not good. I won't go there again.

The Church
On my way to work, I saw the church tower behind a kindergarten. I like how the clouds looked behind. As it's quite dark just with the street lights around, I had to hold my TC-1 with the top of a car as support. The result is acceptable.

The Bridge
I usually give my pictures contrasty and noisy look. Not to this one. I find it looks better this way.

Life on Casinos
Macao is a strange town. It survives by the dirty gaming industry. Most of the residents lead their simple lives. Not aggressive at all. I believe many people here would prefer all the casinos are farther away from their residential and educational areas. However, Macao is too small.

Handle
After seeing Cristi's picture, I found this handle on the concrete floor on my way home after work. What on earth is it supposed to do? I guess it's there for some reason but then abandoned and the opening was sealed off. Thanks god that the handle is not in the middle of road, otherwise I might trip up...

Drill
Another construction tool. Although I like to take such things, I don't know how to make a good composition from them. As I said before, I have to take more of them and try to learn how to take good pictures of them.

Bus Stop
Bus stop is decided as a stop for bus. But in reality, it's the parking place for other kinds of vehicles. Abuse. Sometimes, inevitable. Especially in a city with lousy road design like Macao.
Motorcycles
This is a common road scene in Macao. Rows after rows of motorcycles. I may be able to have an album of all the different neverending motorcycle lines.

Holy Housekeeper
I walked by the Holy House of Mercy. This was the first time I noticed the statue. I didn't know who she was. She looks kind and calm. She must have been serving at the house for a long long time.
Star World
One of the biggest hotel and gaming companies in Macao. Also one of the most boring. I'm not interested in taking pictures of the ugly buildings. Actually, I'm not interested in gaming and everything directly related to it. No matter how glamourous, luxurious and eye-catching they are, all the hotels and casinos look bland to me.
I took this picture basically for testing Hexar outdoors at night. I held the camera with my hands. The result is better than I thought.

Office
All the broadcasting coporation offices are the same. Messy and full of stuff that haven't been used for a long long time. No one cares for tidying them up. Let them be as is forever. When I take the same office some time later, I believe it would look more or less the same...
Hot Item For Sale
In the low time of economy, people are waiting for getting flats at low price. Unfortunately, no drastic reduction in sale or rental prices yet. They have to keep watching and waiting. Good luck!
This is my first time to use expired film. The Fujicolor Superia 200 has expired for over a year... The result is not very bad. With film, we can have such alternative fun. More interesting than the digital format which is looking for perfection.

Behind the Lion Dance
Lion dance is the traditional Chinese way of celebration. Before the opening of the Chinese operas to celebrate a Chinese legend, the lion danced at the street. I found it boring. I was interested in the scene behind more.

The Couple
The couple were waiting by the road for a long time. No traffic at all on the road. Were they waiting to cross the road? Or just waiting for something else there? We're full of easy conclusions. Exceptions are surely allowed. They may give us surprises.

Feather with a Speck of Dust
The sky has been grey and dull for many days. At the time I took this picture I found it blue. Not all clear though. With this nice feather in the sky. The colours look weird in this picture. Black and white works better. With a speck of dust as a bonus.
